"Red Means Rescue" Campaign Raises Awareness for First Responders

Staff Report / ATLlocal.org

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation has officially launched the "Red Means Rescue" campaign this month. The initiative aims to raise awareness, appreciation, and support for firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs serving Atlanta.

The campaign encourages residents to honor these first responders who risk their lives for public safety. It emphasizes the importance of providing them with the necessary resources to ensure their safe return home after each shift.

The Foundation invites the community to participate in honoring and supporting these courageous individuals, striving to make Atlanta a safer city.

The launch of the campaign includes various activities and highlights, promoting the hashtags #RedMeansRescue, #HonorTheBrave, #OneSafeCity, and #MovingAtlantaForward. Photos from the event were taken by Sylvia McAfee of the City of Atlanta, Office of the Mayor.
